Color lives inside an ANSI code block
This generator places terminal-style color instructions inside a fenced block labeled ansi. It includes real escape characters before the style codes and adds a reset at the end. Those invisible characters matter: merely typing the letters ESC or the visible notation shown in the code preview does not produce the same result. Use the copy button to preserve the actual sequence.
Choose a readable combination
Begin with a simple foreground color and no background. If you add a background, compare the contrast between the two colors and check longer sentences, not just a short label. A combination that looks distinctive on a large monitor may be difficult to read on a small screen. Use the preview to remove choices that make the words disappear into their background.
Use words as well as color
Color should support the message rather than carry its entire meaning. Write a clear label such as Open, Delayed or Complete instead of expecting every reader to infer status from green, yellow or red. This also gives the message a useful fallback when a client ignores ANSI styling. Keep deadlines, prices and instructions understandable when the text is viewed without any color.
Expect differences across clients
The local preview is an approximation of common desktop rendering. Discord versions, themes, accessibility settings and mobile apps can display code blocks differently. Some readers may see plain text or escape notation. For an announcement that must be understood by everyone, put the essential sentence outside the decorative block as well, or use ordinary Markdown emphasis after checking how the message appears.
Keep the block intact while copying
The opening fence, the ansi label, the escape codes, your text and the closing fence all belong to the copied message. Editing individual codes by hand can leave a style active or break the block. If you need a different color, change it in the tool and copy again. The generator rejects triple backticks in the input because they could close the fence early.
Check the complete message length
The color instructions add characters around your words. The length shown here includes that overhead, including the code fences and final reset. If the generated message exceeds the standard limit, shorten the content before sending it or use the applicable Nitro allowance. Several small decorative blocks each carry their own overhead, so a single short block is often easier to maintain.
